Chances of someone returning a lost wallet?

What are the chances of someone returning a lost wallet in downtown oakland? I know the chances are pretty slim since it's Oakland, but there was no money in the wallet. The only thing valuable is the wallet itself, but do people really care about the value of a wallet? There is no cash inside, but there is a driver license, debit card( i just cancelled it), and a clipper card( used for public transportation). I know there isn't much I can do other than reporting it to the police station, which I already did, but I am curious to what you guys think.
