Question for Bahai's?
I asked my Bahai friends about their dietary laws. They said there are no dietary laws in the Bahai faith, but the world will recognize on day that we should consume only meat because of the structure of our teeth. I think this was a quote from Bahauallah son, Abdul Baha. This can get confusing. The Jews say that GOD commanded us from the beginning that there are dietary laws we must follow (i.e. not eating pork.) The Christains say there are no dietary restrictions because Jesus made everythig clean. The Muslims say that GOD has made it explicit in the Qur'an there are restrictions in our diet (i.e. not eating pork.) Now Bahauallah, or Abdul Baha has said there are no dietary restrictions. This is a confusing sesaw. I undersand, in the Bahai faith, you consider all the major religions, true revelations from GOD. If this is true, why are these religions sesawing on the dietary restriction? Remember, we have the original Qur'an and it says no pork. Why must we change this?
