Whyd my friend do this!!!!?

well my best friend asked me if i like some1 and i thought i could trust him and then i told him and he didnt do anything 4 a wile but then he started tellin ppl in front of my eyes and said he would stop if i pay him money and i said no so he told the girl himself and it dint reaaly matter coz she seems alrite wit it but im not sure shes told any1 and now hes tellin more ppl and especially the ppl hu spread secrets, hes told about 11 ppl all ready!!! what do i do???!!!!!!!! snd please dont say theres nothin 2 worry bouy coz im almost the lafing stock of the skool
