Can anybody help me in my homework ???

I believe they settled there because Tenochtitlan was surrounded by a lake which enabled them to grow food and gardens and maybe live better. Also the cs enabled them to get around Tenochtitlan easier. Also they had built boats to get to the nearby city to trade.
