How did my chicken die?

It sounds like a virus and that you need to get antibiotics to the others quick. I would also have the body tested. Twenty years ago I would call it a simple virus. But today wild birds can carry so much it is good to know what ails your coop. I say wild birds because they fly over and around all areas of an open air coop.
