Is getting married Jan 1st a bad idea?

I want to contradict the first answer. If you send out save the dates early, and then invitations, people who want to go won't make plans! So if you want it to be on that special date, then do it! It sounds fun to me! "What's your anniversary?" 1/1/11! Good Luck and Congrats!
