Location in Leeds??

Hey. I'm planning on moving to Leeds, West Yorkshire, later this year. I'm gonna be looking for a studio or 1 bed flat to live by myself. Wondered if anyone can give me some advice on good location, or locations to avoid. I only really know the city centre but don't want to be paying really high rent. Any suggestions? xx
