When in my Yahoo address book, while editing an address, the name, address, phone numbers and notes seem to?

duplicate themselves so that I end up with two or more, sometimes up to 5 names -- all the same. Even when I try to X out the names (a small x appears at the right of the name box), they reappear. What is going on??
