Why do many Christians still lust after money and possessions?

Christians do not practice any form of mind cultivation, are totally dependent on others for salvation, and so cannot hope to be better than their animal lusting and ego-worshipping of Competition and Recognition. They believe that if something is to be done, only god can make it happen and therefore nothing happens.
