I was living with a woman for 4yrs. she made me to buy engagement and weding ring for her. ?

I was living with a woman for 4yrs. she made me to buy engagement and weding ring for her. She made me to be giving her what ever she ask of me,even when i don't have sometimes i go and borrow from people to give to her.when finally i was exausted i could not do any thing again and she was to prison bcos she had problem with the judicial system, i went to London.while in London,i realised that she has manipulated me. I cried and ask her to at least give me back the rings(engagement/weding rings).she refused and said (Dead or alife she will never give me the rings).I cried time and again.It is over 8yrs now but she continues to apear in my dreams.I have not been able to get a partner since then and i am eager to get one.It worrys me. I am a 44yrs old man in desperate situation. what can i do ? pls help .
