Would shotokan karate help for a mma career?

ok i have a lot under my belt kickboxing,boxing,romangreco wrestling,BJJ and i studied some judo throws like ive done them on paper i realy want to join shotokan karate one of 2 reasons lyoto machida undeafeated 17 or 18 and 0 and he kicks @$$ and also for the forms i heard it was 50% forms and even thou it sounds boring its great blocking and stuff
